error messages playing new game

Don't really know where to start. I can play old games that do not require
much memory, but i have bought a multi pack of tycoon games i can play
rollercoaster tycoon3 no problem but i can't play tycoon city newyork. i can
install it but then when i go to play it i get an error message off microsoft
saying it has to close the program. it says the file incuded in the error
report is ___Faulting application tycooncity.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting
module tycooncity.exe, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x001f3d56._____ the
only newish game i can play is RCT3 No other one. i have pentium 4 2.4, 256mb
memory, 40gb hard drive intel 82865g graphics controller and a radeon saphire
9250 graphics card

 

Did you try reinstalling it again, or restart your computer?

 

hi there thanks for replying. yes i have tried to install and reinstall many times now with no joy. in the error message i mentioned it also says- the following files will be included in the error report C:\DOCUME ~1\user\LOCALS ~1\Temp\2832_appcompat.txt.

 

is the game even compatible with the pc. check the box if not sure.
