my xbox will read nonburnt cd's, but says it doesnt recognize the game disks, they are original xbox games, clean and everything. I even tried a cd lens cleaner still no luck. How do I fix this? Do I need a new optical drive, can I turn up the laser strength (I heard u could) Someone plz help. If I could get a cheap repair spots # if any fixes dont work that would be great. Thanks
Yeah man I have the same problem right now too. My 360 got the RROD and after it got fixed it just wont read anything anymore for some reason. someone told me you need to rotate the lense slightly so it can catch but if you overdue it you risk messin the whole thing up. So thats risky. If anyone can help or even direct us on fixing this problem that would be some cool beans!
