i recently unistalled that firefox program that runs in the background for dvd burning and what not. now my Roxio Disc Copier gives me an error stating "DISC COPIER COULD NOT DETECT SUPPORTED RECORDERS". can someone please help me with this before i pull my hair out? thank you!
What "firefox" running in the background? Did you mean AnyDVD (the red fox)? As far as I know, FireFox is a browser, not for dvd burning. AnyDVD is a cracking engine that runs in the background -- it's decrypting the encrypted protections that were put on the DVDs, so you can rip it. Do as told by ddp. I don't know about you, but I don't recommend using/installing Roxio, especially if you've Nero installed on your system already. However, the choice is yours.
you are right it was AnyDvd. I cannot stand Nero with a solid gold passion, so that is not on my system. Thank you for all your help, but i have figured it out on my own. I do appreciate it though. Thanks guys!
