    Hello,
I have tried to find if this has been asked before but couldnt find anything. I am copying a dvd which is below 4.7gb. so i copied the video_ts folder to my hard disk, then copied that folder again with dvd backup ( Is it important to use dvd backup directly from the dvd?) Then put the decrypted video_ts folder into dvd imager. Then using disc copy i went to burn image, inserted a dvd-r and clicked burn. I left the computer and when i returned i got this error: failed to burn due to error -2147352480. A target device error error occurred (-2147352480). 03/0C/08
Could someone tell me what went wrong?
    Thank you,
    Oscar.

You have to use DVDBackup to rip the DVD to your HD.

make sure that you are using dvd studio pro 2 or toast to burn TS folder on to a dvd media.

You can. Do not worry. You do not have to buy Toast or DVD Studio Pro to burn your DVD's. Just make sure you use a ripper to get the DVD to your HD.

    Hello,
I have made a copy now. It works on the apple dvd player and my playstation but not on my home dvd recorder. It is not the player's compatability because i have played a dvd my friend copied in the past, and that was a dvd-r the same as my discs. The only thing i can think of is that when i went to burn image, disc copy showed the format of the image as read/write not dvd/cd master. I thought dvd imager would give the image all the right settings so i didn't change it. Are there any other possibilities you can think of?
    Thank you,
    Oscar

If the DVD works in some players it has been correctly burned. I think is just a matter of your DVD player not liking the brand of DVD-R you are using. Have you tried a different one?
