I sometimes get lots of errors (clicks, digital hiss, etc) when ripping CDs to .wma files with windows media player. The problem might be because media player thinks it needs to rip at something like 4500X, when 8X would do just fine. Can something like 8X be forced? Or, is there a setting that will force error checking? Thanks in advance. Fred
Stop using Windows Media Player to rip your CD's and start using EAC. I included a guide to help you setup EAC properly. It may take a while longer to set up than most rippers but th results are worth it. Follow this guide.
