errors with software

    I have successfuly been copying for back up purposes dvds using Platinum express and started to get error could not open VIDEO_TS.IFO file

    Tried clone dvd and got the same result, tried DVDxCopy Express ...ditto

    can anyone help,I am using windows xp I am thinking of going back a few days on my sytem restore

    Duh !! it was region locked !I have found some software the is supposed to unlock regions ,then it may allow me to copy.

    If you have a RPC2 drive then you might need firmware and/or region-free software.

    RPC2 = 5 chances to change region then locks on last change.
