So, does the length of the ethernet cable when FTP'ing to a modded Xbox matter? Will a shorter cable upload faster?

Reason I ask is I've uploaded some wma music files, but when I set them up to play in the game, they sound slower in pitch. I've checked the original files on my PC and there's no problem there. I'm using the Xbox Soundtrack Editor to upload the files.

    Cheers

i don't think so. I have a 50 foot cord and have streamed movies to the Xbox and they play just fine.
Although i am also running it thorugh a good Linksys router with speedbooster technology which may help. But when i use to go strait to the PC it worked fine too.

Hmmmm, I didn't think so, but it was worth a shot.

I too am using a Linksys router (wired). Could you by chance share your speedbooster technology? That may be the reason why every song sounds slow. Michael Jackson actually has a deep voice, its frightening.

"Michael Jackson actually has a deep voice"
    LOL
The speedbooster technology is built into the router.
The newer wireless routers from linksys have it.
