i checked to see if my box was a clone i worked out it was a blue clone by the vents and screws inside are painted red when i upgraded it it was stuck in stand by mode after trying several upgrades got 1 to work updates the codes it self now and works ok but only get 39 channels with telewest should i get more as some are the same channels or is there a newer upgrade for my box box information model- dvb-xc box stv s/w ver 1.0 ssc4 jun 01 2007 h/w ver 2.0s boot strap v001 thanks
If your box is updating itself then your firmware is okay. I have a Eurovox Max V Black myself so don't know the ins and out of your box but might be able to help. If you have the option in the installation menu try doing a deep scan between the frequencies of 100-600 MHz. This will probably take over one hour to complete but should get all your channels back. If the deep scan option isn't there then have a look in Eamo's Folder for a cdf file for your area.
