Eurovox ex1000 sl remote control problem

Hi all,
I have this problem with a eurovox ex 1000 sl
The remote control decided it not going to work anymore.
New batteries installed still no joy.
I also decided to check it with a phone camera and the light is clear to see (So it seems the control is working)?
The box is powered on so i tried re flashing it.But it is still the same.
I am unable to get in to settings as there is no buttons on the ex1000.
Any suggestions ? (thats besides fireing it in the bin) thanks!

 

you could open it up and make sure that the sensor in the front of the box is connected in correctly, it may have taken a bang or shunt and this could cause a problem, where the sensor is at the front of the box, make sure that its connected in tight

 

Yea i was thinking of an operation ok Cheers.

 

Opened it up everything seems ok in there.
Any other sugestions ?

 

if its a new box you may need to send it back to your supplier as it sounds like its faulty
