Hi, Very new to this forum but I am hoping that someone will be able to help me out with an issue I have with my Eurovox EX5100 pvrbox. Recently it seemed like some buttons were working intermittently on the remote control I have tested the remote control by pointing it at my camera phone to see if the infrared LED was working on the front of the controller, some buttons appear to work others don't but now nothing effects the eurovox however the controller still seems to work. Do you think that flashing the box may help me?
I would not worry about this and would not buy another remote as that box will be fit for the bin soon anyway as they are changing the encryption to N3 which will render this and a lot of other boxes useless
Yes dont waste your money on a new remote do with the one you have if possible As soon as you get a new red card in your door from virgin you will have 4 weeks approx to buy a new box.
