eurovox max blue box - freeview

can a eurovox max blue box recieve freeview channels from a terrestrial ariel, if so how plz

reason being... ma parents have a freeview box thats not working as it shud, so i wanna take my blue box round and hook it up and see what i get - to test if her box is at fault or her ariel.

i dont have a terrestrial ariel at my house so have never been able to test it on freeview
