I have just bought a Eurovox with 6/9/07 software on it and when I first installed it all the channels were fine except ITV 1-4. I contacted the seller and he advised me to delete the channels and re-install them all, which I did. Unfortunately it turned out to be the worst thing I could have done as now every single channel is un watchable. I have deleted and re-installed them several times and they seem to get worse not better, occasionally going off and 'No Signal' comes up on screen. When I had my original N!L box in they fitted a signal conditioning filter but with or without that in it makes no difference. PLEASE HELP I'M GOING MAD!!!!!!
I went into channel manager, pressed the blue button on the remote control (edit) then pressed blue again (del all) and ok. What could I have done wrong?
You have deleted all your channels you need to do an autoscan as all your frequencies will still be there you just need to find your channels again. Press menu, press installation, user installation, then press the red button. Screen will go blank for a minute or so then it will scan and find all your channels again.
Apologies guys. This may mean something but there may have been a factory default reset thrown in there too (meaning there definately was!). Would this do anything cos I've told the seller and he didn't seem concerned. Thanks.
OK any more you didnt blow it up at any stage Only joking just do a full powerscan to find all your frequencies, this may take a while and then do an autoscan.
Nope. Still no joy, did the power scan then autoscan and they are the same. Would reinstalling the software help? I don't know whether the factory reset would remove the software. Clutching at straws here now.

Yep your firmware is unaffected. Press menu, installation and user installation. Is there are load of frequencies visible here or are there none?
Good that means you probably have all your transponders. While you are still on this screen, press the red button on the remote to do an autoscan. Make sure you are plugged directly into the incoming feed, (remove any splitters)and plug directly into the cable in rf socket on the back of the box. When you press the red button to perform an autoscan the screen will go blank for a minute or so this is normal before scan commences.
I'll try that. Do I keep the signal conditioning filter in or dump it for the scan? What is it anyway?
tried it both ways and surprise surprise........ Now what? I'm going to try it at my brothers and see what that brings up.
