I'm going to buy a box tomorrow (hop to get at least a few months for my money) and can't decide between a Starview 5 or Eurovox EX1100. Is one 'better' than the other? Which is better supported regarding updates etc. Is it right the Starview 5 can record directly to USB stick? I'm in Birmingham by the way.
    Thanks.

to be honest I would be going for a HD box if I were in the UK, a Krypt HD or similar, PVR boxs are crap for recording as they only have one tuner and 9 time out of 10 ya cant turn off what your recording to watch another chan, so in esssence, crap mate. I would go the extra few quid for a HD model and use DVD recorder

Thanks mate. To be honest, the recording feature would only be an occasional thing for me, and I'm on a tight budget, so I thought one of these 2 is ideal?

to be frank, and dont call me frank, its grand to pause say a match while watching, but to record one ting and watch another, they dont work really well, but like anything, its up to you, but for me if I were in the UK, I would rathur have the HD extra than a PVR, but thats just me, up to you, ure wallet!
