hi, i have a eurovox i think it's a clone and the problem is it is on standby (red dot 4 green lines----)any ideas how to get it off standby. jhaye2x

I am heading off but I have seen this problem before. To find out if you have a clone box look inside the grills on the top of the box if you see a ribbon cable it is genuine if you see a load of individual white cables it is a clone. If it is a clone only use the Feb firmware, (As you have not said if it is a blue or red box you must only put blue firmware on a blue box and red on a red), if you put any other firmware after the Feb version on a clone your box will die. Follow these instructions: You must reflash your box. (1) Open your loader Dnupman or Voxer with the image you want to load, (note my instructions on clone/genuine, blue/red firmware above. (2) Make sure the power lead is disconnected from Eurovox. (3) Click on download and apply power lead to Eurovox and hopefully this should solve your problem. You may have to do this a few times or you may get lucky on your first attempt. (4) Enable both EMM Capture and Emulator. Press menu, press language settings and type 1968, enable both.
