i have a black eurovox was working perfectly through NTL. then i lost some channels on the higher MHZ frequencies. Did all the auto scan stuff nothing came in did manual scan nothing so checked out a few pages and followed the advice of a few loons hit factory default and everything is gone is my box finished or can i get it working again at the moment i have nothing no channels no frequencies all is dead HELP!
Do a normal powerscan using symbol rate 6887 for 290.000 to 402.000. This will find all your transponders then do an autoscan. Dont know which loons you listened to.
hi scouser i think i already did the power scan but will try it again. I'm very impatient takes ages. anyway i may have neglected to tel you that not only did i restore factory default but continued with the madness and erased all channels should that make a difference
Hi Scouser only back to computer now to thank you box is working great. Just another selfish query. The original reason i started messing around with it was because i lost a lot of plus ones celtic TV rangers TV9Didn't care) Now LFC tv has replaced rangers. Last night the missing plus ones reappeared but a little sketchy pixels breaking up celtic and liverpool the same. This morning the two club footie channels said service unknown, i've tried the manual search on the frequency 395Mhz but no luck any ideas again thank so much
Did you pick up the 402.000 tp as well? To solve the problem with 395.000 you need to edit it in your list to 394.000. Press menu, installation, user installation, edit 395.000 tp to 394.000, (follow on screen button guide). Save and exit back to main frequencies page. Highlight and press OK on the 394.000 tp, (a tick will appear beside it), and do a manual scan on this one tp that will solve your problem. Also list all your frequencies and I will tell you which ones to edit for better reception.
thanks i'll let you know tomorrow how it went and i'll send you the list of frequencies as well at the computer now but tv is elsewhere good stuff
went to 394 Mhz no luck More 4+1 no signal, celtic and liverpool, had a list of other frequencies for you but forgot them anyway they all seem to be ok
No problem when you get a chance post your frequencies and I will have a look you may need a booster as the signal may be weak on this one tp.
hi scouser here are my requencies 291 299 307 315 323 339 347 355 363 371 379 394 402 last night nearly all the stations were pixeling still no lfctv celtic and more 4+1 any ideas
OK make sure you take out any splitters and have it directly into the incoming feed. I will give you the exact frequencies that is on an N** box. You need to edit a few of them to suit. 291 299 307 315 323 339.500 347.500 355.500 363.500 371.500 379.500 394 402 Believe it or not the 500Hz does make a difference. As said when you are connected directly to the incoming feed, edit you frequencies to match and save them then do an autoscan. If this doesn't solve your problem check your cable connections after that you may need a booster to improve your signal strength.
No splitters straight feed did a power scan this morning lost 394 completely that was the one which was a bit dodgy anyway and 402 is till crap how do i boost thanks man
