    Hi everyone
I want to buy a EVGA 9800GTX+. the problem is that i have a 450 watts power supply with no pci express power connectors(will be using molex-pci express adapters). would it run properly? I have one LG DVDrw/cdrw combo drive, one seagate barracuda 7200 320gb sata hdd, 1 80 mm 12 volt fan, and 1 120 mm (or maybe bigger i dont know) 12 volt fan, asus m4n78 pro MOBO, AMD Phenom X3 8400. oh yeah, the power supply has 4 molex connectors, 2 sata connectors. (1 sata taken for hdd and 2 molex for fans and dvd). The power supply is a stock one that came with a PowerUp! atx case with clear side; here is the link for it; http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1901962&Sku=TC3J-4050 P. i used the power supply calculator @ http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine and it says i need minimum 268 watts psu and recommended 317 watts psu.

    help!

we are here on our own free time as none of us including mods are paid to help.you already answered yourself in your 1st post but watch it with the stock psu as it might not have the power that is stated on it's side. post edited due to language.
