The problem I am having is that my xbox wont boot the evolution-x cdrw or dvdrw. I have installed, a xecutor 2.2 lite modchip with 4977 bios installed and a thompson dvd drive. Everything seems to be working fine thus far(xecutor2 flashes on the boot up). I cannot get evolution x 3921 dashboard to load for the life of me. I have burned the ISOs to a philips dvdrw, cdr, and verbatim cdrw. It will not load. I have tried dummy images, ejecting and turning the power off. Nothing. Please help me.

It might be the bios your using. The X2 4977 bios has a No DVD Check feature that skips the DVD drive and start up and goes directly to the harddrive. Try reflashing to an Evox bios and try loading the dash disc. RustyDog
