Evolution X Update

Hey, was wondering if there was a way I can update Evolution X, im using an outdated version and wanted to load 3935 on, is there an easy way to do this or would i have to clear all my Hard drive contents first??

 

This depends if you have a larger hard drive or the standard one? and have you linked your xbox to your PC using crossover cable. All that is required is to download the latest 3935 and replace mainly the default.xbe file.

There are plenty of guides on the net.

 

yep have 120gig hardrive, and know how to transfer etc, "mainly the default.xbe" , is there no other things needed or can be done other than that???

 

hmm, i downloaded the 3935 evo x, but i doesnt have a default.xbe file in it, it has a evoxdash.xbe, is that what you mean?

 

Yes sorry about that, Replace the evoxdash.xbe and you should be fine. Let me know how you went?

Good stuff! Yeah, there isn't really any real noticable changes except for internal ones. You might want to update your apps as well e.g dvd2xbox, xbox media centre.
