with some games you cant burn them to the chips harddrive thing and i was wondering if you could make a backup copy of the game and play the backed up copy from the disc on this sort of chip??
1. you dont burn to a hard drive, you install to it. 2. 99% of games, you CAN install, theres only a few you cant, and most can be overcome with game patches. 2. the most important thing to remember, the BIOS on the chip, not the chip itself, is what "allows" backups to be played. ALL xbox chips have the capability of allowing your backups to be played, you have to use one of the many "hacked" bios. Or customise your own bios from them (like I do - so do many others) again, check the media your xbox dvd can play, AND the bitsetting of the dvdrw you use. not all drives (or firmware) are created equal
ok how do i make bios n stuff and how do i get them onto my xbox and how do find out the other info you sed
you dont make bios, you download it. The easiest way to flash bios with Evox. Just make sure your bios is flashable.
