    Can anyone tell me exactly what the unlock/lock setting is for in this dashboard??? anyone?

    you need to download config magic and ftp over xbox. Then run it.

    it can lock and unlock hdd. It is what are you looking for.

    was actually curious what the option in evox dashboard meant by unlock, it states if i do it that the hard drive will be able to boot from an origianl bios, does this mean any original bios?

    No do not unlock hdd. This curious will kill your xbox. It is nothing to do with bios. If hdd is unlock, your xbox will give an error.

    Only modchip xbox can run the unlock hdd.
