evox locks when loading anything

    Installed xecuter 2.6 in a 1.6 box. Flashed the M8_1.6 bios and am using evolution x build 3953. Boots fine, FTP's fine, but any software, or msdash, or any disc load will lock. I'm not exactly a newb, but I could use some help if anyone has any ideas. I've tried everything I can think of.

    I,m having the exact same problem except if it disable my chip I can play from the dvd drive but if I try to load anything from the HDD evolutionx just freezez
