   I am putting an X-ecuter 2 Lite in my Xbox, and i wanted to know if i absolutely HAVE to put Evox on. I'd rather not mess with anything more than just installing the modchip. thanks!!

   no mate, you just need the modchip to run your backup games, nothing else..
