I was wondering if someone could tell me what is the best cd-rw brand to burn evoxm8 to??? I have been trying to make a boot cd to flash my BOIS so it can support a 250gb harddrive but I dont think my Xbox is reading my cd. I have downloaded the program to convert files to iso and I downloaded the nero burner program but I cant get the cd to work. By the way I have a samsung drive.
you need to use a dummy file as well...create a 100mb dummy file and burn it with the bios .bin file...this should help your xbox to read the cd...i have always used cdrw for burning a bios disc. forgot to mention that you need to rename the m8 to bios
Thanks alot for the info. But I just have a couple of questions if you dont mind. first, how would I make a dummy file and when you say rename m8 to bios are you saying to rename it evox.bios?
The dummy file can be anything that is large in size (.avi, .mpeg, etc..) Rename the m8.bin to BIOS.bin
