Damn it, i have got soo many exams coming up in 2 weeks , 2!!!!! So i was just wondering if anybody has had any previous funny stories about something happening or whatever while doing/studying for an exam. Just to give us all a bit of a laugh! Jin666
I cheated in an American Lit class in the ninth grade and got caught. I had a lot of work to do and not enough time (odds are I was just too damn lazy but it was long ago.) Anyway, I had a brother who was fifteen years older than me so I went through his old papers, found a paper on Edgar Allen Poe which he wrote in his grad years...I ripped off the cover sheet and typed my own. His paper was entitled "Edgar Allen Poe and the Antidisillusionist Theory". If I'd had half a brain, I would have at least read the paper I turned in but naturally, dope that I am, I didn't. I was asked before the whole class to get up and explain the Antidisillusionist Theory ... rather embarrassing it was. Needless to day, I flunked. I was lucky though because it was a private boarding school and it was an expellable offense but I flunked and got off with a warning of expulsion if I ever cheated again.
Lmao oops. Btw, we are studying a short story by Edgar Allen Poe called "The Tell Tale Heart" Its actually not all that bad once you think of it... Any more good experiences? Jin666
just last semester, i started studying two whole weeks before my science exam, which was my worst subject, so i go into it feeling good, and i thought i was doing good on the paper, when i got it back, it was a fifty-five percent, i felt like crying, and was all upset, but got over it after my girlfriend was with me for a long time and cheered me up. so yeah, dont' go into ur exams feeling u'll do really good and make sure to study way before the exam
That story "The Tell Tale Heart" is weird, but scary. That Edgar Allen Poe guy was one crazy bastard!
It's neat that you guys are reading that stuff. I'll have to reread Edgar Allen Poe one of these days...it was so long ago. I wonder what it was like to actually meet and talk to someone like that? There was a composer much like him...a guy named Hector Berlioz who's friends nicknamed "Mad Hector". If memory serves he was an opium addict. Wrote some "horror music" when he was stoned. There is one called Symphonie Fantastique where he puts devils and demons dancing all around him and taunting him etc. Gets pretty strange.
