Excel Grouping

    Hi i wanna know how to group data in excel. I wanna be able to resize the colums and rows in the red outline with out effecting the other red outline data; if anyone knows please help. Sorry for the big image, screen resolution is 1200 by 800

    Ok. First make the columns and rows to your standard size.

    If you want to make specific columns bigger, you merge columns together.

    If you want to make specific rows bigger, you merge rows together.

    i wanna be able to change the coloum but not affectthe lower rows.

    Highlight the rows and columns you want. then click on the Merge button. it wont affect the lower rows

    but i dont want them merged. Is there a way to seperate particular rows&coloums so when i change the width and height it wont affect the others.
