Things I have: 1. 1.4 xbox 2. zenium sp gold solderless 3. 300 Gb maxtor Hd 4. Evox dash I haven't really encountered anything strange until today. I turned my xbox off from playing house of the dead 3 (game on hard drive) then turned it back on. Every single time I have ever turned my xbox on, my zenium operating screen pops up, but not this time, it launched the microsoft retail kernel. So I turn off and on and same thing for like 4 times. Now I unplug then plug my power cord to my xbox and everything is all good. Is there a reason or is this common for a chipped xbox not to boot the chip? The only conclusion I could come up with is maybe my solderless adapter needs to be adjusted but that wasn't the case. Help me ease my mind! TY
I'd go with the solderless adapter was loose, they all get that way, and you jarred it when you unplugged it and plugged it back in. sounds like the DO wire (leg on the solderless) was what wasn't making good contact. kc
