Hi all, Today i was just using my comp as usual and i installed ICQ and MirandaIM and then my Internet Explorer sounds have gone u know when u click the back button or even one of the options on aD it does not make a sound. I removed those programs but the sound is still not there. What should I do besides reinstall IE. Because if thats the only option I will go to firefox or opera. Thanxs for the advice.
Hi There, have you lost all sound from the machine e.g. music or soundtrack volume from a dvd or cd? if so, before trying anything else, I would try re-installing the soundcard drivers. Other wise maybe your IE sound settings have been changed. Take a look in control panel-> sounds and audio devices-> sounds tab, and see what they now default to. Good luck
