I have an Acer Aspire laptop. Model is 5315. Currently I have a Li-ion 11.1V that lasts less than 1 1/2 hours. In search of an extended life battery but have questions. Is there certain types such as voltage that I have to have? where would be best place to look? Checked out acer's confusing and annoying website but came up empty. Am a computer novice and know very little about battery requirements. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and btw your website has been very helpful in the past. has to have same voltage but can have higher amp hours such as have 1500ah instead of 1100ah. also has to be identical in size & shape as current battery but not from same manufacturer. don't buy from acer as laptop companies do not make batteries as they buy them from a supplier then charge an arm & a leg if you need a new 1. check with ebay as i bought new battery for a customer for $55 which includes shipping instead of $175-193 without shipping from hp.
