external hard drive

    hi i have connected an external hard drive to my laptop. its been picked up by the laptop and it knows everything about it, and according to my laptop its working properly but when i go to my computer its not visible, does anyone know how i can view the stuff on the hard drive

    is the external drive partitioned & formated??

    yes, it works on my other computers just not my laptop.
