External Hard drive

    hey all,

    just wondering whats the best mobile hard drive i could get looking to spend around 40-50 pounds, i just want it to back up media and files which are taking up space on my hard drive any ideas?

    ok the question i pose to you is that do u want a desktop external hard drive or do u want a laptop external hard drive and how many gigs do u need to back up??

    The hard drive brand i would go with is either seagate or maxtor and Western Digital. In that order.

    i only want to spend between 40 and 50 quid, but its mainly for movies, so as much as possible for this price:D

    Do you care at all about the transfer rates and all of that? If storage is the only issue, it shouldn't be too hard to find a cheap drive.
