external portable hard drive

    Hi All,
    I purchased a skymaster 3.5" smart external storage for my son to keep his music on instead of my computer. I have formatted and copied his itunes to the drive through the usb. However when he connects it to another computer, the computer recognises it but he can't see it. Can anyone help. Please don't ask technical questions because i have no idea. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Well was it a xp machine that it was plugged into?

    Might need too read the manual too the portable HHD

    When you say you "copied his itunes" to it, do you mean you copied his music library?
