when i try to extract audio files or any files for that matter out of a RAR archive, i get an error saying the header file is corrupt. it is very annoying considering almost everything i download now is RAR and i cant access any of it. any help?

these wouldnt be full albums from p2p? or irc?? most things i download, being programs, are in zip files or self extracting setup .exe
RAR is the same as ZIP, it's just Ford & Chevy you know? Neither will compress music files any more than they already are, but it's convenient to group a bunch of smaller files together ie. for download. I have WinRAR 3.30.
