    Hi there,
I recently converted an avi source of 'family guy the movie stewie griffen untold stor' to DVD.it was 679 on cd and 1.9 gigs when burned onto dvd.WHat surprises me is that the quality is perfect.I genuinley would not be able to tell if this was sourced from avi.this was the first time i converted an avi file and am wondereing-is the excellent quality due to it being a cartoon or do all avi conversions result in such excellent results. It was converted with divxtodvd, downloaded form this site.

It depends on the original source, how it was captured, how it was encoded to avi, bitrate, aspect, encoder, codec, hardware used, how you encoded it, bitrate, etc.
Just saying "I have an avi that's perfect quality", doesn't mean much.
