I encoded few movies with XviD and Two passes. With such movies fast forward worked well. Last night I did one movie with single pass and fast forward on Phillips DVP 642 did not work. On some other place I found that fast forward does not work if movie is done with single pass. Can someone confirm? Does it apply to both XviD and DivX?
After some time I found that same movie recorded on DVD-RW media could not be fast forwarded. However, the same movie recorded on DVD-R media can be fast forwarded. I am not sure why is that so. In both cases used the same burning options in Nero. At least, I am glad to find out that it has nothing to do with XviD or DivX encoding.
