By using the following code,will all my files on drive C remain intact after it has been converted to NTFS - CONVERT C:/FS:NTFS Is there a 100% guarantee that after the conversion the drive will not be formatted?? Also, which file system would you recommend - NTFS or FAT32? Thanks!

I don't know. I doubt it. read this. NTFS started with windows NT and moved to XP. With a duel boot like yours I think your stuck with fat. Again I don't know I never tried it. Got XP and never looked back. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/expert/russel_october01.mspx
