With windows (bad comparison I know) you can go from Windows 2000 Professional to Windows XP Professional with an upgrade instead of a format and install of Windows XP Professional. I presently use FC5 and I have recently obtained FC6. Is their a way to upgrade instead of formating and reinstalling? My laptop is a dual boot between Windows XP Professional and FC5. If their is no way just to upgrade FROM fc5 TO fc6 can you just format the linux partition(s) and salvage Windows XP Professional from a reinstall as well?
