FCEU and xsnes help

I softmodded my xbox and at first these programs worked really well, but I am afraid I accidentally erased something because instead of the introductory splash screen. I just get a black screen with all the roms listed. The only way to quit the program is to hit the left and right shoulder buttons and back and start buttons at the same time.

What can I do to restore the normal settings? I have tried to reinstall the programs but to no avail

What are those anyways. I never heard of these, which surprises me.

 

They are nes and snes emulators. I should also mention my gameboy and genesis emulator works fine.

 

I figured it out. I accidentally erased my skins folders. oops!
