Hi, im using the ffdshow software for quite a while and it never gave me any problems. but when i downloaded and installed the latest 18-10-2005 update. suddenly all my video files played realy slowly and barely moved. so i uninstalled and reinstalled it, something which usualy does the trick for this kind of problem. only this time not only it didnt help and the video still playes very slowly, now theres no sound either!
can anyone help me pls?, thx

EDIT- ok, i tried uninstall-reinstall again and for some reason the sound is back. but the video is still lagging and doesnt keep up with the sound. what should i do?

Lots of people I think have been having problems with that build. General consensus I think is that my compiles are the fastest so I would suggest that you go back to my 13-10-2005, wait until I release a new build or try one of the other numerous builds now available. MSVC tends to be the slowest and I think that build was all MSVC? libmplayer and libabcodec should at least be compiled with gcc.

I was actually planing on stopping releasing ffdshow. Hopefully out of all the numerous builds being released lately we can come up with something that is a worthy replacement for my builds.

firstly try a few diff players cause that is odd...

if this is still happening try and update your video card drivers and then reinstall latest ffdshow if still have problems??
