im currently running windows xp home edition. when i go into one of my music folders it says file folder on the top left corner. when i go to the other folders, it doesnt say that. the weird thing is that when i change the name, it goes away. and when i change it back, the file folder comes back. i do not know what a file folder is? i've looked everywhere. here is what it looks like: can someone please help me. i would like the file folder to go away. thank you!
That's Windows XPh? Nice theme! Anyway, that looks like one of those labels that come up when you change the view settings to "Show in Groups", but I don't know why it would say "File Folder"... Try right-clicking in the empty space in the folder, and go Arrange Icons By > Show in Groups and see if it's checked. BTW, if you want to make that image appear in your post, change the img tags to small letters (not capitals).
