Ok, I was downloading a torrent using BitComet, and when it asked for the destanation file, I selected my documents. Then in my documents I found the file so I know it was there. Then by accident I deleted the destination folder, but the torrent still kept downloading unitil it was 100% complete (2.5GB torrent)! Now my question is..... where are the program or files that downloaded???

Here's another little tip. When you open Windows Explorer, click on Tools->Folder options->View tab. Under hidden files and folders check the 'show hidden files & folders' option. Also uncheck the box for 'hide extensions for known file types'. Appy & OK and you should be able to see your file if you had trouble seeing it in its designated location.

Well the thing is I didn't hide it.... I deleted the destination folder on accident! But like I said it still finished downloading so it has to be somewhere...

look around your drive for folders that are larger than they should be. Or search for folders 2GB above

Tried every search method imaginable with no luck! I guess it downloaded directly into the recycle bin or something, haha! Is there a way to restore stuff from the recycle bin without doing a complete system restore?

    Hi,

One final suggestion is to look in temporary/ local files in documents and settings as torrents usually go there as default.
