Hi, I have set up network sharing on my 2 computers in my house. It is a workgroup. The two computers can see each other. I turned off simple file sharing. I tried sharing a folder and i have trouble accessing it with my other computer. Under permissions for sharing, there is a group called Everyone but I beleive this is everyone on PC1, the local computer. Now I tried pressing add and trying to add a user from PC2 but after I press locations to find PC2 only PC1 is shown. Now, I would like to know why PC2 is not shown there and how can i get PC2 listed there. In My Network Places I can see PC2 and even print remotely but can't set permissions. Thanks.
