File size is different in alcohol than what is on hard disk

    n00b here,
    got a problem, I downloaded a bin file off of dc++ and the completed file size is 558 MB +/- when i try to burn using alcohol it shows the file size is only 508 MB +/-. the cue is correct. I also have tried to burn with Nero and get the same results.
    Also cant get the image to mount in alcohol.

    What gives??

    I don't know what seems to be the problem. The BIN may contain blanks so that the CD-burning program will recognize it as "nothing".

    Finally got it to work in nero, but no luck in alcohol
