    Hi all,

I found a guide here in afterdawn explaining how to convert an avi file to dvd playable.
    This link.

Page 3 mentions something about "target size" and I don't really know what file size to put.

I just want to convert the file without degrading its quality.

Is there some sort of tool that can possible help me?
Any advice on this would be helpful :)

Are you using a regular DVD or a DL? Choose DVD-5 for a single layer DVD; I would only choose a DL(DVD-9) if the movie was lengthy(2hr+, like some of the LOTR for examle), and of course, if you had a blank DL DVD to burn onto.

I was sort of wondering the same things, as for best settings in ConverXtoDVD 4.

If I burn a movie that is about 1.4 GB the end product comes out to about 2GB-2.5GB. Is there a way to bump it up so the end product comes out anywhere between 3.5GB and 4.5GB?
I'm pretty sure with version 3 my converts were always over 3GB. When I converted with Version 3 i used the guide on this site (linked in the original post) to set it up.
