Hi, i have downloaded a Video Clip which is 698mb butwhen I open nero for durning to dvd and select Add Video files, the file comes up on Nero as taking up 3.46gb, is this right?
Yes, most files downloaded are in AVI or similar format and once converted will always increase in size, as an example..a movie of around 700mb will become approx 4+gbs.
Hi thanks very much for replying, i was just confused. Could you also tell me, roughly, how long it will take to burn this to dvd using nero, the clip is 90minutes long?. Thanks
burning depending on speed say 4x will take 10/12 minutes... encoding from avi to dvd can take alot longer to get to files for burning, its pc dependant and software dependant for a time span... basically fast pc fast speed 1 to 2 hours encoding maybe? mine takes an hour from avi to dvd. useing TFM/CCE
hi thanks for replying. Do you think TFM is faster than NERO? I can only find TFM 27-06-2004 version 1.1 is this the one you use?
could be? http://forum.dvdrbase.info/thefilmmachine/ i got 4 version back i think? due to audio issue but yuor setup maybe good to go...
