Ok ive been looking around this for a while and i cant find a solution. The last few days i have been using IE to transfer files by ftp as my FlashFXP trial ran out, now i have FlashFXP back i cannot transfer files onto my xbox, if i try in IE it says that i do not have the permissions and in FlashFXP it says it has transfered the file succesfully but the file i tried to transfer is not there when i refresh the ftp. Any help would be very much appreciated Cheers, silver145
If the FlashFXP can make a connection i don't see why it would not transfer the files. After you transfer them you rebooted the Xbox right? You could alway try a free FTP program like one here: http://www.teammodders.com/download.php?action=category&cat_id=2
i know that what i was thinking, it confused me that even though a connection can be made and i can do things such as delete files i cant actually upload things. Yes i rebooted the xbox but still no files Does anyone know if there is anyway to change the permissons on the xbox as i seems that according to IE that is the thing that is causing it... Aha i have fixed the problem I just went into the softmod menu on my xbox and reset the ftp settings. i dont know what has changed but i can now transfer the files. Thanks Everyone
