Filing issues

    Hi There,

    jkust downloaded my 1st song which took ages (i am on broadband so can't understand why!). Anyway the songs have been put into another file other than library - my question is how do i copy the files into library and put them into the ipod file?

    So sorry for being soooooooo stupid - never done this b4!

    In iTunes just find the directory the file was downloaded to and it should let you add it to the library which in turn you can then put on your iPod.

    Yeah. Open up iTunes. Then go

    [bold]file---> add file to library[/bold] (then locate your song, which will be wherever your downloaded files go).

    then once it is in iTunes, update your iPod (hook it up to your computer, right click the ipod in the left-hand menu and click 'update)

    There, should be on your iPod.

    by the way, with regards to your slow downloading, do you have a router or firewall? and how many sources were on the download (assuming you use p2p)?
