I have a stand-alone dvd-R recorder (pioneer). I save videos unfinalized in VR mode. My Computer can play it with PowerDVD. But all other programs, including microsoft explorer can not see any content on the dvds. Does someone know a authoring tool, that is able to finalize such dvds? I find it hard to do it on the stand-alone-recorder. It would be better to do it on a pc, with mouse and tastature, where I can make a good dvd menue.
my friend, we have the same problem, so perhaps we can help one another. You say you can play the unfinalized disc with powerDVD? This is something i have not tried, but will do so within the next five minutes because of your post. Perhaps we can work together and find a way. I'm a video producer, and been in production for several years. What methods have you tried? It seems to me that my computer (Winxp) won't even recognize the disc.
