I have been downloading music files for LimeWire and most of the tag or track info is not accurate for uploading into iTunes. I find that I have to go to each file before I upload it into iTunes and correct the Artist name, Album name, etc. Is there a good software out there that will take the given info for the music file and find several possibilities so I can just click on the correct one and it would update it automatically? Then I could just upload them afterwards and not have to deal with the problem.

    thanks,

no, there really isn't, as the tag is the only way the computer really knows specifically what song you're looking at. there's nothing else engrained in the zeros and ones that give it away. you're stuck doing it manually for now, at least when it comes to the actual title. most media players let you highlight a grouping of songs and let you change the artist, album, and so on at once, though. so that is a *bit* of a time-saver there.

iTunes lets you do as Auslander suggested, this is helpful if you need to name a bunch of songs from a particular album or artist. Add the songs to iTunes and then hold down ctrl and click each song you want to change the artist/album information for then right click and go to 'Get Info' and change that information. You'll still need to do the song titles individually however.
