Fingerprints eat through CDR labels !

    I've never heard of this brand or company before. (who resells them) It sounds like a very cheaply made CD-R if fingerprint oils can eat through it!

    Looking at more of them, only the inner ring is affected. Maybe the silver is uncoated there.

    That's right, the silver is actually uncoated on their inner ring !
    No wonder it oxydizes !

    I've check with an Ohm-meter : the inner ring surface is conductive, and the rest of the label is not !
