i am trying to fix a computer that is having trouble with firewire. there was an update to gamefilm solutions. it is a football program. the problem is the port will not detect any devices and i cant find it in the device manager. i think it is a corrupt driver but i cant find any downloads or fixes. if anyone can help that would be great
I have been told that firewires have NO DRIVERS. This may be the reason why you cannot find one. I have also heard that some are better than others. Texas Instrument is probably the best one. I have a generic brand and it works when it feels like it. I hope this helps.
